Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026. By using ApexNova Tools, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

ApexNova Tools provides free, browser-based tools for working with PDFs, images, and QR codes — merging, splitting, compressing, converting, editing, and more. Viewing a tool's page is public; using a tool to actually process a file requires a free account.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account. Give us an accurate email address — it's how you log in and, if needed, how we'd reach you about your account.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use ApexNova Tools to process content you don't have the legal right to use, to violate someone else's intellectual property or privacy, or to break the law. Don't attempt to abuse, overload, scrape, or automate against the service in ways that degrade it for other users. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.

4. Your files

You own whatever you upload — we don't claim any rights to it. Files are processed to produce the output you requested and are deleted afterward (see the Privacy Policy for specifics on timing and the one exception, the AI tools, which send extracted text to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a response). You're responsible for keeping your own backup of anything important — we don't guarantee file retention beyond what's needed to complete your request.

5. No warranty

The service is provided "as is." Conversions and edits are automated and, while we aim for accuracy, we don't guarantee a perfect result for every file — complex or unusual documents can convert imperfectly. Always review your output before relying on it for anything important.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ApexNova Tools and Apex Nova Systems aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or files. Use the service at your own risk, and don't rely on it as your only copy of anything irreplaceable.

7. Third-party services

Some tools rely on outside services to work — geoIP lookups, Anthropic's Claude API for the AI tools, and Google AdSense for ads. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to the parts of the service they're involved in.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. Continuing to use ApexNova Tools after an update means you accept the revised terms.
